Online Travel UK is an association of the UK’s best known online travel companies.
Formed in 2023 to be a united industry voice for pro-consumer policy and digital innovation, Online Travel UK (OTUK) collaborates with government, policymakers and regulators to advocate for an innovative, competitive and consumer-centric travel and tourism industry.
Digital technologies have transformed how people travel. OTUK members have enabled consumers to explore a world of opportunities and easily compare, combine, personalise, find, and book the best value hotel rooms, package holidays, excursions and multi-modal transportation.
OTUK members collectively generate billions of pounds of travel bookings every year. OTUK’s 2025 Censuswide consumer research revealed that online travel companies have helped over 36 million people search for or book travel over the past two years, and UK consumers could spend £17.5 billion on their next trip booked with an online travel company.
Members have UK headquarters and/or UK operations that collectively employ thousands of people, also investing in and attracting talent across the globe in hybrid and remote roles.
Through its engagement with industry stakeholders, OTUK focuses on highlighting the critical role of online travel companies to consumers and the UK economy now, and in future.
